HOW TO MANAGE TIME DURING EXAMS



Whenever we talk about exams, the first thing that comes to mind is studying late night and switching off all the distractions. We tend to ignore ourselves, we are just into studies but let me tell you that doing all such things just increases our stress. The first and the foremost thing is that you don’t have to get scared of exams. Instead take this as an opportunity to prove yourself to others.  Still if exams are taking away your peace, so follow up certain tips to achieve victory over the exam stress.
A month before exam time:-
·         Start analysing your priorities subject wise
If you are weak in certain subject or topic, start practicing that topic and make valuable notes and extract doubts as many as possible.
·         Cut short your extra activities
It’s important to go outside and play, to hang around with friends and watch television but it’s equally important to give more time to studies. A month before exams is a crucial period to identify your priorities and start working accordingly.
·         Start making notes
It’s very essential for you to make notes and know the important topics of each subject so that when you sit for revision, then you have the material to go through deeply.
·         Make a workable time table every morning
It is little difficult to work according to a time limit but it does make you punctual and discipline. You might don’t start off well but if you try to maintain the punctuality then you can work better.
·         Make your own learning style
People do get bored reading or revising a topic. So experiment with your learning style. You can make brief notes using different colors (except blue or black), you can make flowcharts and understand the relationship of words in a topic, and you can also read out loud any topic.
·         Do some physical exercise
People gain weighs or loose weighs during exams. The only reason is the exam stress and tension. To keep yourself away from examination fever, start doing little exercises like jumping, stretching and breathing exercises. This will definitely reduce your stress and weight.
During exam time
·         Deeply revising the topics
You need to be concentrated on the subject. Take out notes and start revising. Question yourself after completing every topic. Vocabulary, technical terms definitions, summaries of points, formulae, rules, diagrams, charts, ability to understand relationships, you need to mug up everything.
·         Doubt everything
It’s very important to not only doubt but solve the doubt. If you won’t ask questions you won’t be able to answer also. So ask lot of questions to your teachers and get them solved.
·         Take proper sleep
You must take proper rest and relax your mind by doing certain activities like playing outside or going for a walk. It is equally essential for your body and mind to have a relaxing ambience around you.
·         Last but not the least, no last minute revision
It will always confuse you and give you a lot of stress.
